Manchester United have officially signed for Paul Pogba for the world-record amount of £100million!

Manchester United’s José Mourinho current manager has recently experienced his interest in making sure that Pogba be a part of the Manchester united team this coming season. However, many said that the transfer might not happen because Juventus weren’t willing to give Pogba up without the right price…which they did. The previous record was of the amount of £86million and it was for the transfer of the now Real Madrid player Gareth Bale, from Tottenham Hotspurs in 2013.
The French national has officially left his former Italian team Juventus, for a five-year contract worth £210,000 a week. A deal that has discussed and agreed with between Ed Woodward (vice-chairman of Manchester United) and the Juventus directors - Giuseppe Marotta and Fabio Paratici, and of course Pogba’s agent Mino Raiola.
Mino Raiola has successfully managed to get Pogba back to his first senior team, after leaving in 2012. Though Pogba hasn’t hidden his appreciation for Manchester united as he see’s it as where his career really began, and earlier this month made reference to them by saying – ‘It was my first family.’

One of the reason for why Pogba previously left Manchester united back in 2012, was because he felt that he wasn’t allowed to play enough on the pitch, because of the manager back then, Sir Alex Ferguson. However now at the age of 23, he has succeed in having a vast growing career in both Juventus and the France national team, which is where he caught Mourinho’s attention. He also caught the attention of another famous football player, who was an Arsenal legend and fellow France national. Thierry henry was asked about Pogba during the Euros 2016 and he had nothing but praise for the fellow Frenchmen -  ‘Forget about France, I think he can be one of the best midfielders in history…He has the quality to do that.’
